The data exit-poll 2015 regarding the voting results of voters of 7 cities where the second round of elections of mayors was appointed on November 2015 at 20:00

On November 15, 2015, during the day of the second round of elections of mayors where the second voting was appointed the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) at the request of Television News Service (TV channel «1 + 1») conducted an exit-poll 2015. The exit-poll took place in seven cities of Ukraine: Kiev, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporozhe, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Lviv, Pavlograd.

The main purpose of the project is to ensure effective public control over the transparency of the election procedure and to receive information about the socio-demographic structure of the electorate of candidates.

The exit poll sample consists of electors who voted at polling stations on the territory of the city and is representative for each separately taken city as a whole. Interviewed:
  • 3457 respondents of 60 polling stations in Kiev;
  • 5033 respondents of 60 polling stations in Dnipropetrovsk;
  • 4135 respondents of 60 polling stations in Zaporozhye;
  • 4131 respondents of 60 polling stations in Ivano-Frankivsk;
  • 3936 respondents of 45 polling stations in Lutsk;
  • 4900 respondents of 60 polling stations in Lviv;
  • 2914 respondents of 40 polling stations in Pavlograd.

During the survey the methodology of «secret ballot» has been applied.

The statistical sampling error doesn’t exceed 3.5%.

On November 15, at 20.00 according to results of the exit-poll:

  • In Kiev 35,3% of the electorate voted for Borislav Bereza, 64,7% – for Vitali Klitschko;
  • In Dnipropetrovsk 38% of the electorate voted for Alexander Vilkul, 62% – for Boris Filatov;
  • In Zaporozhye 55,4% of the electorate voted for Vladimir Buryak, 44,6% – for Mykola Frolov;
  • In Ivano-Frankivsk 56,1% of the electorate voted for Ruslan Martsinkiv, 43,9% – for Igor Nasalik;
  • In Lutsk 56,6% of the electorate voted for Nicholas Romaniuk, 43,4% – for Alexander Tovstenko;
  • In Lviv 38,6% of the electorate voted for Ruslan Koshulinsky, 61,4% – for Andrew Sadovoy;
  • In Pavlograd 55% of the electorate voted for Vershiny Anatolia, 45% – for Evgenia Terekhova.

The level of reach (agreement to participate in the survey) is:

  • 78% in Kiev;
  • 71% in Dnipropetrovsk;
  • 72% in Zaporozhye;
  • 77% in Ivano-Frankivsk;
  • 81% in Lutsk;
  • 85% in Lviv;
  • 77% in Pavlograd.
