Public attitude toward potential of the Winter Olympics 2022 in Ukraine

According to a survey results Ukrainian population is positive about the possibility to host the Winter Olympics 2022 in Ukraine. Almost 80% of respondents supported the idea of application to the International Olympic Committee for the right to host the Winter Olympics.

The vast majority of kiev citizens believe that alcohol brands clips which are broadcasted on television are nothing but advertising of alcoholic beverages

89.6% of residents of Kyiv, who saw commercials of alcohol brands on television, believe that these videos are advertising of alcoholic beverages. This is confirmed by a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology.

UKRAINIANS ARE WIDELY AWARE OF POLITICAL SHOWS

Kyiv International Institute of Sociology held a regular nationwide opinion poll in the midst of a political campaign during the period of September 12-23, 2012, which was designed to study popularity and target audience of sociopolitical programs in structure of Ukrainian television network.

2,012 respondents were interviewed; the survey covered all regions of Ukraine (including the city of Kyiv) and in Crimea; sample was random and representative for the population of Ukraine aged 18 years and older.

The state of the dairy industry of Ukraine is one of the most frequently discussed topics. Particular attention is paid to this subject during the escalation of trade relations between Russia and Ukraine concerning the export of Ukrainian cheese into Russia.
