Changes in the attitude of Ukrainians towards Russia and in the attitude of Russians towards Ukraine

The mutual attitude got worse over the past three months. However, the attitude of Ukrainians to Russia is still more positive than the attitude of Russians to Ukraine. Comparing to the May survey the amount of positively minded Ukrainians fell slightly (from 52% in May to 48%  in September). The proportion of negatively minded Ukrainians increased also slightly (from 38% to 41%).

If the elections to the parliament (Verkhovna Rada) of Ukraine through the majority system took place in the end of September, the following results for the population of the district aged 18 and above would be obsereved 26,5% would vote for the candidate of the political party “Block of Petro Poroshenko” – E. Electoral intentions of voters in the elections to Verkhovna Rada

If the elections to Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine took place in the penult week of September, the population of Ukraine aged 18 and above would vote for the following parties 18,3% “Block of Petro Poroshenko” (Y. Lucenko); 4,8%  Radical party of O. Lyashko; 3,6%  "Batkivshchyna"  (Y. Tymoshenko); 3,2% “Gromadyanska pozitsiya” (A.Grytsenko); 2,7% “Narodnyi front” (A. Yatsenyuk);

Public opinion of the population of Ukraine: Parliamentary Elections 2014 September

There are 65% of the population who are going to take part in the parliamentary elections - 12% less than it was on the eve of the 2012 election. There are significant regional differences in the willingness of voters go to the elections. The largest percentage of those who agreed to participate in the voting - in the West (88%) and Central (76%) regions, much less willingness to participate in the elections - in the South (57%) and East (59%) regions, and on Donbas volunteered to participate in the elections only 23.5% of residents.

Electoral intentions of voters: The elections to Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine: August 2014

If the elections to Verkhovna Rada took place in the end of August, 2014, the population of Ukraine aged 18 and above would vote in the following way 16,1% - fo the party “Solidarnist”; 9,4%  - for the Radical party of O. Lyashko; 5,7%  - for the Ukrainian union "Batkivshchyna”; 5,2% - for the party “Gromadyanska pozytsiya”; 4,1% - for the party “UDAR of Vitalii Klychko”; 3,9% - for the Ukrainian union “Svoboda”; 2,7% - for the party“Sylna Ukraina”; 2,2%  - for Komunistychna partiya Ukrainy; 1,6% - for the party “Samopomich”; 1,3% - for the Partiya regioniv; 1,0% - for the party “Pravyi sektor”; 3,7%  - for all other parties in total; 2,2%  would spoil the ballot; 16,4% decided not to participate; 24,9% have not decided yet for whom to vote.
