Public thoughts on political parties orientations: oppositional and governing

It was difficult for respondents to identify the orientation of following parties:

Radical Party of Oleg Lyashko - 70% of respondents could not answer the question (34% of them believe that the party does not support any government or opposition, while for 36% of respondents it was difficult to determine their position)

Our Ukraine 59% of respondents (31% of them said that the party does not support any government or opposition, and for 28% it was difficult to determine)

Communist Party of Ukraine - 56% (of which 34% said that the party does not support any government or opposition, while for 22% it was difficult to determine)

Party of N.Korolevska "Ukraine, go ahead!" - 55% (of which 25% said that the party does not support any government or opposition, while 30% could not determine their position)

Comparison of exit poll with the results of the elections on october 28th, 2012

National Exit Poll 2012 was conducted on the day of the elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on October 28, 2012, by the Consortium, which includes "Democratic Initiative" named after Ilko Kucheriv, Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) and the Ukrainian Centre of Economic and Political Studies named after Oleksandr Razumkov.

General population of this exit poll is made up of voters who voted at polling stations in the territory of Ukraine (except for special districts). The sample is representative for the whole population of Ukraine. 19,600 respondents were interviewed at 400 polling stations. Technique of "secret ballot" was applied.

NATIONAL EXIT-POLL’2012 DATA REGARDING RESULTS OF ELECTIONS TO THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE

On October 28, 2012, the day of elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the National Exit Poll 2012 Consortium, which is made up of the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology and the Razumkov Economic and Political Studies Center, has conducted the National Exit Poll 2012.

Electoral intentions of voters in the city of Cherkasy (electoral district 194) in late September

Kyiv International Institute of Sociology conducted a survey ordered by the “Institute of Informational Sosciety” during the period of September 14–30, 2012. The study was made with a representative sample of adult population (aged 18 years and older) in the electoral district 194. The territory of the electoral district covers Pridniprovsky and part of Sosnivsky area of the city of Cherkasy. The current study was aimed to learn opinions of adult residents of the electoral district 194 regarding various current socio-political issues. 1,003 county residents were interviewed.
