UKRAINIANS ARE AGAINST COLLECTION OF TAX DEBT WITHOUT A COURT DECISION
75.3% of Ukrainians do not support the idea of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine to give tax authorities the right to collect tax debts without a court decision. Ukrainians trust the tax system less than judicial authorities: 48% of Ukrainians prefer courts in collecting tax debt, while only 21.3% trust tax authorities. The study was conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology at the request of the CASE Ukraine Center for Socio-Economic Research from February 5 to March 4, 2024. Based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers, 2,008 respondents aged 18 and over were interviewed. The sample did not include residents of territories that were not temporarily controlled by the authorities of Ukraine until February 24, 2022, and citizens who went abroad after February 24, 2022. The statistical sampling error does not exceed 2.4%. More details at the link. |
