Every fifth Ukrainian (20%) faced with the extortion of bribes by the government officials over the last year. More than half of Ukrainians (54%) believes that in the course of the last year the amount of bribes taken by officials had increased.

Відчули наслідки кризи приблизно 95% населення України, зокрема: 84% - людей відчули кризу через зростання цін і тарифів; 44% - через зниження рівня своїх доходів;10% - через затримки виплат заробітної плати чи пенсій; 10% - через втрату роботи.   

The proportion of people who have not felt any crisis consequences is less than 7%, while the percentage of those who have felt the crisis is over 90%, namely: 80% of the population have felt it through rising prices and fees; 44% have had lower income; 14% have experienced delays in salary/pension payment; 11% have lost their jobs.

  

Almost half of respondents – 48% consider that Ukraine will be on «velvet» from entering to WTO, in two times less – 25% consider that Ukraine will be in a «loss». 27% of respondents could not answer this question.

Відповідаючи на запитання «Хто, на Вашу думку, несе головну відповідальність за припинення подальшого зростання цін на основні продовольчі товари?», 38% опитаних сказали, що головну відповідальність несе Прем’єр-міністр Ю.Тимошенко, ще 26% – уряд, 19% – Президент В.Ющенко, 4% – парламентська більшість, 1% – парламентська опозиція, 3% – жоден з них, 8% – не  змогли відповісти на це запитання.
