On October 25, 2020, the day of the local elections, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) held an exit poll in the city of Odesa. The general set of exit polls is voters who voted at polling stations in the city of Odesa (except for special polling stations - hospitals, prisons, military units, etc.). The sample is representative for the city as a whole. As of 8 pm, 3,726 respondents were polled at 60 polling stations. The method of "secret ballot" was used. The reach rate (the number of voters who agreed to take part in the poll) is 61%. The sampling error should not exceed 2.5-3%.

From October 17 to 19, 2020, KIIS conducted its own survey by CATI method (computer-assisted telephone interviews) based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers. The sample is representative for the adult population (18 years and older) of Ukraine. The sample does not include territories that are temporarily not controlled by the authorities of Ukraine - the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, some districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. 505 interviews were conducted during the survey.

Statistical sampling error (with a probability of 0.95 and without taking into account the design effect) does not exceed: 4.5% for indicators close to 50%, 3.9% - for indicators close to 25%, 2.7% - for indicators close to 10%.

From October 8 to 15, 2020, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted an all-Ukrainian public opinion poll. By the method of personal interview using a tablet (CAPI), 1009 respondents living in 73 settlements of all regions of Ukraine (except the Autonomous Republic of Crimea) were interviewed by a 3-stage stochastic sample with quota selection at the last stage, which is representative of the population of Ukraine aged 18 and over.

In Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts, the survey was conducted only in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.

Statistical sampling error (with a probability of 0.95 and without taking into account the design effect) does not exceed: 3.1% for indicators close to 50%, 2.7% - for indicators close to 25%, 2.1% - for indicators close to 12%, 1.4% - for indicators close to 5%.

З 12 до 16 вересня 2020 року КМІС провів опитування методом CATI (телефонні інтерв'ю з використанням комп'ютера, computer-assistedtelephoneinterviews) на основі випадкової вибірки мобільних телефонних номерів. Вибірка репрезентативна для дорослого населення (віком 18 років і старше) України. До вибірки не включаються території, які тимчасово не контролюються владою України - АР Крим, окремі райони Донецької та Луганської областей. В ході опитування проведено 2000 інтерв'ю.

Статистична похибка вибірки (з ймовірністю 0,95 і з врахуванням дизайн-ефекту 1,1) не перевищує: 2,2% для показників близьких до 50%, 2,1% — для показників близьких до 25%, 1,4% — для показників близьких до 10%.
