Attitude of the population of Ukraine toward Russia and of the population of Russia toward Ukraine, February 2019
In Ukraine, in February 2019, 57% of the Ukrainians responded that they were positive or very positive about Russia, 27% were negative or very negative, 17% were hesitating; 77% of the Ukrainians had positive attitude to the Russians (the citizens of Russia), 13% – to the leadership of Russia (mainly at the expense of the East and Donbas). Positive attitude towards Russia is due mainly to a positive attitude towards the Russians (Russian citizens).

What to gift women on March 8?
Most likely, the vast majority of those who plan to congratulate women on March 8th have already bought the gifts. However, our press release may give a hint to those who are still undecided. KIIS has been asking women about what they would like to receive as a gift on March 8 for 10 years already. Stressful situations in the lives of the ukrainians, 2018
According to a recent KIIS study, 52% of those polled experienced some sort of stressful situation. Compared to 2017, the number of such situations has not changed significantly (it was 53% in 2017). There is a decrease in the total proportion of respondents who felt helpless and lost faith in themselves (17 percentage points in 2018 versus 21 percentage points in 2017), as well as in the proportion of those who lost their job and found themselves without livelihood (11 percent points versus 15 percentage points respectively). At the same time, the share of people who experienced other stressful situations decreased by three percentage points, that is from 16 in 2017 to 13 in 2018.

Attitude of the Ukrainians to public holidays, November 2018
Compared to previous periods, the biggest increase is observed in the importance of celebrating the Independence Day, and importance of holidays such as the Day of the Defender of Ukraine and the Constitution Day also increased. The share of the population for which the International Women's Day was among the favorite holidays slightly decreased. New Year, Christmas, and Easter are stably among top-3 holidays.
