On August 7, 2024, President V. Zelenskyi introduced a draft law on multiple citizenship to the Verkhovna Rada. 

In February 2024, KIIS already asked Ukrainians question about their attitude to the possibility of introducing multiple citizenship and published the corresponding results. According to the obtained results, 27% of Ukrainians rather positively perceived such an initiative, and 28% - rather negatively. At the same time, 43% perceived it neutrally (neither positively nor negatively) (and the remaining 2% could not decide on their opinion).

On April 20, the President of KIIS, Volodymyr Paniotto, gave an interview to the online edition "Ekho of the Kavkazu" on the topic of the current mood of Ukrainians during the full-scale war.

On April 17, KIIS President Volodymyr Paniotto took part in the discussion of the results of a sociological survey of the state of public opinion in the de-occupied territories of Ukraine in the press center of IA "Ukrinform". The research was conducted by the analytical group "Stratehiko" on the initiative of the Representation of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Ukraine in 2023.
