RESULTS OF THE SECOND WAVE OF RESEARCH "COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT OF POPULATION RESILIENCE" (SHARP)

In the summer of 2023, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted the second wave of the nationwide survey "Comprehensive assessment of the viability of the population" commissioned by Chemonics International Inc. in support of the "Partnership for a Strong Ukraine" Foundation (PFRU) and the Center for Sustainable Peace and Democratic Development (SeeD).

SHARP (Comprehensive assessment of the viability of the population according to the SCORE method) is a population survey aimed at obtaining data on the viability of Ukraine through the prism of social cohesion, sustainability and people's needs. In the second wave of SHARP, about 5,000 respondents were interviewed across the country in government-controlled territories of Ukraine from June to August 2023 using computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI). The research covered indicators such as social cohesion, trust in institutions, provision of services, access to basic needs, cooperation between communities, civic activism and civil resistance.
