“Health index. Ukraine” was started by IF “Vidrodzhenia”, Kyiv International Institute of Sociology and School of public health in the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in order to annually measure the actual level of satisfaction with medical care among the citizens of Ukraine.

Its design is based on one of the European indexes of consumers of public health services, which compares the health systems of the countries of the EU and helps to determine the optimal path for their development.

Director of "Levada Center" Lev Hudkov turned 70 years old. According to Y.Golovakha, "Lev Hudkov today is the most famous Russian sociologist in Ukraine. He is also known as a unique researcher of the post-Soviet social realities and, above all, as a public sociologist who consistently defends the right of social analysts to have an objective position in not much favorable conditions for this. It is no accident that the research center led by him was recognized as a "foreign agent."

In the opinion of the experts, the questioning of the pupils in schools about "Media literacy, democratic values and social activity of school students", that has caused a discussion on social networks, is not manipulative, but rather unprofessionally conducted.

Iryna Bekeshkina, CEO of “Demokratychi initsiatyvy” Fund (Democratic Initiatives), and Volodymyr Paniotto, CEO of KIIS, gave the comments about the formulations` correctness in the questionnaire for the pupils of 7-9 and 10-11 grades (school years of studying) that was conducted by “SocioInform” Center on the request of MYMEDIA.

An unexpected outcome of the elections in the USA showed that even in the democratic countries, data of the public opinion polls may unreliably reflect the real situation. In an interview to the TV-channel UKRLIFE.TV Volodymyr Paniotto, Ph.D., CEO of Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, professor of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy", explained why the opinion polls were wrong during the elections in the US.
