December 10, 2014 was held a meeting of the Board of the Ukrainian Sociological Association and VIII sociological reading to the memory to N. Panina on «The phenomenon of the Maidan in Ukrainian society: sociological interpretations» in the Institute of Sociology of Ukrainian NAS.

The study was carried out to estimate the number of victims of Nazism in Ukraine. If we define the victims of Nazism in the narrow sense (Gastarbeiters, Holocaust victims, prisoners and prisoners of war), then about 200 000 people is in Ukraine. If we consider all the elderly who affected by national-socialism during the Second World War, their number is 8,5% – 10% of people older than 70 years or 430 – 500 thousand people.

December, 12-13 the XIV International research and practice conference «Marketing in Ukraine» was held.

The Director General of КІIS Vladimir Paniotto reported with a lecture: «Telephone survey today: problems and its decisions».

The book of Alexander Tertychnyi published at the expense of KIIS: «The first attempt to build political party in Ukraine. Autobiography of Ukrainian Demplatform (1990 – 1991 years)»

The book is dedicated to the memory of Yuri Chekhovoy.
