Social-economical research
Big socio-economical researches are one of the main scientific specializations of Kiev International Institute of Sociology. These researches include issues of life quality, economical activity, access and quality of social services, education etc. The objects of analysis in this type of research, except the population, are enterprises’ activities, regional and municipal development, work of governmental and civil organizations. The big difference between socio-economical and other types of research is that the results of latter loose their value in short period of time, while the results of socio-economical research are relevant for years. This is why socio-economical researches’ results are the basis of Data Base of KIIS and are disseminated among stakeholders during several years. Starting work on socio-economical research KIIS has obtained status of leading research organization both in Ukraine and at the level of international research organizations.
Areas of Social and Economic Research
The separate type of socio-economical research in KIIS is regularly conducted Omnibus KIIS, which gives opportunity to analyze demographical, educational, industrial and qualifying structure of Ukrainian society.
