Dynamic of internet penetration in Ukraine
A marked increase in the number of Ukrainian Internet audience KIIS conducted nationwide poll “Omnibus” KIIS during the period of February 10–19, 2012. 2029 respondents were interviewed, the survey covered all regions of Ukraine (including the city of Kyiv) and Crimea; sample was random and representative for the population of Ukraine aged 18 years and older.

UKRAINIAN TRUST IN SOCIAL INSTITUTIONS
During the survey Omnibus-KIIS held in February, 2012, respondents were asked the question about how much they trust or distrust different social and political institutions. The result was calculated and designed as a trust-mistrust balance, being the difference between the percentage of those who trust and those who distrust.

SELF-ASSESSMENT OF HEALTH IN UKRAINE
KIIS tracks the dynamics of self-assessment of health of population of Ukraine by means of Omnibus research since 1995 (medical researches show that self-assessment of health is closely related to the real level of health). It was observed the deterioration of such self-esteem during the long period of time. However, starting from the beginning of the century we note a gradual and steady increase in the population’s optimism in view of its own health.

Monitoring of feeling of happiness in Ukraine
According to the research conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology in the period from 2001 to 2012. All the studies were conducted by the same method. The sample for these researches is representative for the population of Ukraine aged 18 years and older. The study of 2012 was held in the period of February 10–19; 2029 respondents were interviewed.

Public perception of integration projects
In the event of a referendum on Ukraine's accession to the EU, there are more Ukrainians who are ready to vote "for" than "against" (40% vs. 33%). Supporters of EU membership dominate in the Western and Central regions (67% vs. 13% and 46% vs. 26%); and the ones who are against the accession live in the Southern and Eastern regions (45% vs. 22% and 50% vs. 24%). |
