Readiness of Ukrainians to participate in social protests, December 2020
According to surveys conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, the share of those who say they are NOT ready to take part in any mass protests during 2019-2020 has changed from 49% in 2019 by 57% in 2020. In December 2020, 38% of adults in Ukraine were ready to take part in protests. Compared to previous years, the level of readiness to participate in social protests has decreased significantly (by 10 percentage points compared to 2019).

Socio-political moods of the population of Ukraine: January 2021
To the question "In your opinion, are things going in the right or wrong direction in Ukraine now?" 74.3% of respondents answer that things are moving in the wrong direction. Believe that things are moving in the right direction - 10%. The remaining 15.7% of respondents were undecided or refused to answer the question.

Stress situations in the lives of Ukrainians, 2020
According to a KIIS survey, two-thirds (67%) of respondents experienced some sort of stressful situation during 2020. This is significantly more than in the period 2017-2019, when 50-53% of respondents experienced stress. Compared to all previous years of measurements (2013-2019), in 2020 there is a relatively highest proportion of those who survived a serious illness or death of relatives (16% of respondents), as well as those who lost their jobs (13%). Compared to 2019, in 2020 it became more of those who lost faith in people, faced meanness (there were 6% in 2019, became 10% in 2020), and those who found themselves without means of subsistence (there were 3%, became 6%). At the same time, both in 2019 and in 2020, compared to 2013-2018, a significantly smaller share of those who felt helpless or lost faith in their own strength.

Dynamics of the attitude of the population of Ukraine to opinion polls, December 2020
KIIS conducts a survey of the population's attitude to opinion polls once a year, in December. The December 2020 poll showed that 41% of respondents trust the data of long-term working sociological organizations, 21% do not trust, others do not have a certain opinion about it. The level of trust in these sociological polls has not changed in recent years (in 2019 it was 42%, and in 2020 - 41%). The balance of trust and distrust (percentage of those who trust, minus the percentage of those who distrust) is + 20%, a year ago it was equal to + 21% (a small statistically insignificant decrease).

The research in question has been conducted by the Gallup International Association of Independent Research Agencies since 1947 in 42 countries, including Ukraine for some time.
