Моніторинг електоральних настроїв українців
According to the results of a joint sociological survey conducted by three sociological companies (KIIS, Razumkov Center and the Sociological Group “Rating”), 35% believe that the situation in the country will improve as a result of the presidential election, which will take place on March 31, 2019 (the indicator improved from 31% to 35% over the last quarter). At the same time, 32% believe that it will not change, 10% have negative expectations about the elections. The sympathizers of V. Zelenskyi, Y.Tymoshenko and P.Poroshenko show a relatively higher level of optimism about the improvement of the situation in the country as a result of the elections. The worst expectations are observed among those who do not intend to vote.

Упродовж останнього року майже чверть (23%) дорослого населення України відвідали бібліотеку або книгарню хоча б один раз, але водночас 60% зазначають, що впродовж останнього року не читали жодних книжок (електронних або друкованих) і не відвідували ані бібліотеку, ані книгарню. 50% дорослого населення України не відвідали жодного культурного заходу упродовж останнього року. Водночас 79% населення зазначають, що за певних обставин відвідували б культурні заходи частіше: перепонами є насамперед брак часу та грошей.

Attitude of the Ukrainians to the policy of regulation of informational sphere: March 2019
In March, 33.9% of the respondents believed that there was an attack on the freedom of speech in Ukraine (this percentage is the same as in September 2018), 35.4% - held the opposite opinion that in Ukraine there are too many Pro-Kremlin propaganda media, and the state and society react weakly (in September it was 30.2%). It should be noted that a large proportion of respondents had difficulty in determining their position: about 28.8% either failed to select an answer or refused to respond, although the percentage of such respondents decreased significantly in the last year (in February 2018 it was 37.7%).

Thoughts and views of the population on teaching the Russian language in Ukrainian-speaking schools and granting autonomy as a part of Ukraine to the uncontrolled territories of Donbas: March 2019
46% of the Ukrainians speak mostly or only the Ukrainian language with their closest relatives i.e. parents, grandparents, brothers, and sisters (including 32.4% who speak only Ukrainian). Also, 28.1% of the Ukrainians speak mostly or only Russian language (including 15.8% who communicate only in Russian). Another 24.9% of the Ukrainians speak Ukrainian and Russian in equal proportion. Also, 0,2% speak other languages, 0.7% were undecided or refused to answer the question.

Attitude of the population of Ukraine toward Russia and of the population of Russia toward Ukraine, February 2019
In Ukraine, in February 2019, 57% of the Ukrainians responded that they were positive or very positive about Russia, 27% were negative or very negative, 17% were hesitating; 77% of the Ukrainians had positive attitude to the Russians (the citizens of Russia), 13% – to the leadership of Russia (mainly at the expense of the East and Donbas). Positive attitude towards Russia is due mainly to a positive attitude towards the Russians (Russian citizens).
