Assessment of the activities of factions in the parliament

During September 19-28, 2025, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted its own all-Ukrainian public opinion survey "Omnibus", to which, at the request of the public organization Center for Strategic Communications "Forum", a question was added regarding the assessment of the activities of factions in parliament. By the method of telephone interviews (computer-assistedtelephoneinterviews, CATI) based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers (with random generation of phone numbers and subsequent statistical weighting) in all regions of Ukraine (the territory controlled by the Government of Ukraine), 1,029 respondents were surveyed. The survey was conducted with adult (aged 18 and older) citizens of Ukraine who, at the time of the survey, lived in the territory of Ukraine controlled by the Government of Ukraine. The sample did not include residents of territories temporarily not controlled by the Ukrainian authorities (at the same time, some of the respondents are IDPs who moved from the occupied territories), and the survey was not conducted with citizens who left abroad after February 24, 2022.

Formally, under normal circumstances, the statistical error of such a sample (with a probability of 0.95 and taking into account the design effect of 1.3) did not exceed 4.1% for indicators close to 50%, 3.5% for indicators close to 25%, 2.5% for indicators close to 10%, 1.8% for indicators close to 5%.

Under conditions of war, in addition to the specified formal error, a certain systematic deviation is added. Factors that may affect the quality of results in "wartime" conditions were previously cited by KIIS.

In general, we believe that the obtained results are still highly representative and allow a fairly reliable analysis of the public moods of the population.

Evaluation by Kyiv residents of the activity of factions in the Verkhovna Rada

During July 25-August 3, 2025, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted a survey of Kyiv residents at the request of the public organization Center for Strategic Communications "Forum". By the method of telephone interviews (computer-assistedtelephoneinterviews, CATI) based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers804 residents of Kyiv were interviewed. The survey was conducted with adult (aged 18 and older) residents of the city who were living in the city at the time of the survey (including IDPs permanently residing in Kyiv).

Formally, under normal circumstances, the statistical error of such a sample (with a probability of 0.95 and taking into account the design effect of 1.3) did not exceed 4.6% for indicators close to 50%, 4.0% for indicators close to 25%, 2.8% for indicators close to 10%, 2.0% for indicators close to 5%

Opinions and views of residents of the city of Kyiv: results of a telephone survey conducted on February 17-27, 2025

During February 17-27, 2025, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted a public opinion survey of Kyiv residents. By the method of telephone interviews using a computer (computer-assistedtelephoneinterviews, CATI) based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers (with subsequent statistical weighting), 805 respondents living in all districts of Kyiv were surveyed. The survey was conducted with adult (aged 18 and older) residents of the capital who, at the time of the survey, were living and registered in Kyiv.

Formally, under normal circumstances, the statistical error of such a sample (with a probability of 0.95 and without taking into account the design effect) did not exceed 3.5% for indicators close to 50%, 3.1% for indicators close to 25%, 2.1% for indicators close to 10%, 1.6% for indicators close to 5%.

The survey conducted is the third wave. The first wave (using the same questionnaire) was conducted on October 12-16, 2023, the second wave (also using the same questionnaire) was conducted on April 23-May 1, 2024.

In wartime conditions, in addition to the above-mentioned formal error, a certain systematic deviation is added. There are various factors that can affect the quality of the results in "wartime" conditions, which were previously presented by KIIS. In general, we believe that the results obtained still retain a high level of representativeness and allow for a fairly reliable analysis of the public moods of the capital's population.

Assessment of the activities of factions in parliament, who is considered the leader of the opposition, possible sanctions against P. Poroshenko and deprivation of mandates of deputies from the OPZZh

During February 2-6, 2025, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted its own all-Ukrainian public opinion survey "Omnibus", to which, at the request of the public organization Center for Strategic Communications "Forum", questions were added regarding Ukrainians' assessment of the activities of factions in parliament, who Ukrainians consider to be the leader of the opposition, how they perceive possible sanctions against P. Poroshenko, and how they feel about the deprivation of deputies' mandates from the OPZZh. By the method of telephone interviews (computer-assistedtelephoneinterviews, CATI) based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers (with random generation of phone numbers and subsequent statistical weighting) in all regions of Ukraine (the territory controlled by the Government of Ukraine), 1,000 respondents were interviewed. The survey was conducted with adult (aged 18 and older) citizens of Ukraine who, at the time of the survey, lived in the territory of Ukraine controlled by the Government of Ukraine.
